Jack Tanner

Jack Tanner

We regret to announce that former 96.5 Inner FM presenter, Jack Tanner, passed away on Sunday, March 5 2017. Jack was 89 years of age and left behind his wife of 63 years, Nancy and their family of children and grandchildren.

For more than 18 years Rotarian Jack Tanner was one of the voices of the Tuesday afternoon program then known as "The Rotary Hour" (since renamed "Rotary in Action"). The program has been continuously aired since July 4, 1995. Jack's passion had always been promoting Rotary and he felt 96.5 Inner FM was a wonderful medium to get the organisation's service message out to the community. Jack was last on air on September 16th, 2014, a two-hour celebration of the 1000th "Rotary in Action" program.

Jack will be missed by all his friends at 96.5 Inner FM.
