MUSICAL THEATRE MELODIES - 28th February - "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown"

Rob Morrison's next "Musical Theatre Melodies" broadcast Tuesday, 28th February at 9 p.m. will feature a 50th Anniversary tribute to Clark Gesner's You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, (based on the comic strip "Peanuts" by Charles M. Schulz), from the 1967 original off-Broadway cast recording starring Gary Burghoff, Bob Balaban, Bill Hinnant, Skip Hinnant, Karen Johnson and Reva Rose; plus 1966 demo recordings of songs performed by Clark Gesner and Barbara Minkus.

This will be preceded by an introduction (via Skype) from New York-based theatre critic and Internet columnist - Peter Filichia.

The remainder of the broadcast will feature song selections from Larry Grossman and Hal Hackady's Snoopy!!!, from the 1976 original San Francisco cast recording, starring Don Potter, James Gleason, Pamela Myers, Roxann Pyle, Carla Manning and Jimmy Dodge.
