Egyptian Show Interview - Dr Patrick Greene 21/3/11
Dr Patrick Greene, CEO of Museum Victoria, talks to us about the arrival of the internationally acclaimed exhibition "Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs" which will be the first time King Tutankhamun’s treasures have visited Australia. More than 130 stunning artefacts will be on view, including 50 from the tomb of Tutankhamun. An additional 80 are from the tombs and temples of his ancestors and contemporaries provide insight into the daily life and royal burial practices of the 18th Dynasty, a 200-year period of Egypt’s "Golden Age".
