Rob Morrison’s next Musical Theatre Melodies broadcast on Tuesday, 3rd December will feature a centenary tribute to the George and Ira Gershwin musical Lady, Be Good!, from the 1992 U.S. studio cast recording starring Lara Teeter, Ann Morrison, Jason Alexander, Michael Maguire, John Pizzarelli, Ivy Austin, Michelle Nicastro, Robin Langford and Carol Swarbrick
The programme will conclude with a selection of songs from the musical performed by its original stars Fred and Adele Astaire, accompanied by George Gershwin at the piano, recorded in London in 1926.
The broadcast will commence at 9 p.m. AEDT.
