Rob Morrison’s next Musical Theatre Melodies broadcast on 21st January will feature an 60th anniversary tribute to the David Lee and Herbert Kretzmer musical Our Man Crichton (based on The Admirable Crichton by J.M. Barrie), from the 1964 original London recording starring Kenneth More, Millicent Martin, George Benson, David Kernan, Patricia Lambert, Dilys Watling, Anna Barry and Peter Honri.

This will be preceded by an introduction by the British Musical Theatre historian, archivist and author – Rex Bunnett.

The programme will conclude with scenes and songs from Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie performed by Jean Forbes-Robertson, Dinah Sheridan, Gordon Harker, George Baker and Nancy Evans, plus incidental music for the play composed by John Crook from the 1940 London studio cast recordings.
