To mark the 35th birthday of 96.5 Inner FM, Kevin Trask will replay The 96.5 Inner FM Story, originally produced in 2001. The series covers the people, programs, and history of our station during its first ten years.
We began official transmission on 8 December 1990, after several years of test broadcasts. Thanks to the dedication of many loyal members, we are still “On the Air.”
This special feature brings back the voices of many who have passed on, as well as younger versions of some of the pioneers who are still with 96.5 Inner FM today.
The 96.5 Inner FM Story can be heard at 1.30 pm during That’s Entertainment, commencing Sunday 21 September, with the final episode airing on Sunday 14 December.
The series is narrated by the late David Small and Kevin Trask.
It has been a wonderful journey over the past 35 years, and this special replay will bring back many memories for both listeners and members.
