Welcome to my first President’s Message for our new 96.5 InnerFM Website.
My name is Greg King and I’m proud to have been the president of this wonderful community radio station for almost three years.
Without going into the history of our Station (you can find that information here) we’re pleased to be an important part of the entertainment and information streams for the cities of Banyule, Manningham and Darebin and the surrounding areas.
Inner FM’s Volunteer Army
With over 50 volunteer Presenters and a team of behind-the-scenes helpers, we have been able to build a loyal listening audience throughout our catchment area stretching back more than 32 years.
The last 12 months or so have been very difficult for our communities. InnerFM has continued broadcasting throughout this period with some Presenters taking on extra shifts to keep our radio station on air without interruption.
We will continue to serve our community by providing a great listening experience to our loyal audience.

There are opportunities contained in these pages to give feedback, both of the positive kind which we all appreciate, but also of the politely suggestive kind that will help us adapt and adjust to our community’s listening demands.
