The Funeral Service to honour and celebrate The Life Of Tony Pantano will be held at:

On Friday 20th January 2023

Commencing at 11.30am

At the conclusion of mass the funeral will proceed to a Private Family Burial.

Very sad news came through on Saturday January 7th, 2023 that the “King of Cabaret” in Australia and multi-award winning performer, Tony Pantano, has passed away this evening after a tough battle with Cancer.  

The one time TV entertainer and on stage performer will be greatly missed by all including the Italian community in Australia.  

Tony Pantano was a huge favourite of the Italian/Australian community and regularly sold out events. Tony worked non-stop since the age of 15 performing at weddings, engagements, nightclubs, TV shows, the Sydney clubs and on Cruise Ships in America and locally. 

An incredible gentleman who was selfless, caring and dedicated to those close to him. 

Tony led a very successful life in showbiz, including being awarded the ‘MO’ Award’ for “Best Male Vocalist” for a record thirteenth time. All this in spite of never having the hit records he deserved. He was a leader in the industry showing that with true talent, tenacity and professionalism one could carve out a first class career. This lead the way for any immigrant who would aspire to success in show business.  

Tony’s long time connection with Inner FM where he would feature regularly on Saturday Express with Ron Lopes and also long time close friend of James Liotta (The Shake Up Radio Show) will mean he is sorely missed. 

Tony joined Ron and Tony Tardio live on air on Christmas Eve 2022 for what eventually became the final time. The audio is below.
